About Dr Marc Bastawrous

Dr Marc Bastawrous is a St George/Shire local who obtained his Medical Degree from Bond University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has completed extensive hospital-based training across St George, Sutherland, and Calvary Hospitals over the past three years.

Dr Bastawrous has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, with a focus on early detection, prevention, and comprehensive care. He has completed his Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and is currently undertaking his Advanced Certificate, equipping him to manage and treat high-risk skin lesions.

In addition, he has a strong interest in women’s health—particularly antenatal care—as well as paediatrics, providing holistic care across all stages of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr Bastawrous enjoys travel, camping, and the outdoors, and is passionate about contributing to and supporting the local Shire community.
