About Dr Ash

Dr Ashwini Kumar graduated as a doctor of medicine from the University of NSW and has trained in hospitals in Northern Sydney and the Central Coast with experience in emergency care, paediatrics, geriatrics, family medicine, and general surgery.

She is an empathetic doctor who values the importance of communication and patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general medicine and is especially interested in preventative medicine, women’s health, aged care and mental health.

Outside of work, Dr Kumar is an avid painter and enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, if her grumpy indoor cat allows her to.
