Dr Vicky Hillier

Dr Vicky Hillier is the founder of Kareela Family Practice and has more than 25 years experience in all aspects of General Practice. Dr Hillier completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and her Diploma of Child Health at The Children’s Hospital Westmead. Dr Hillier enjoys helping people work towards good health outcomes and achieving a sense of well being in both physical and psychological health. She has special interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Sports Injuries, Nutrition and General Health and Well Being, and is also involved in the Shared Care Antenatal Program with Sutherland, St George Hospitals and the Royal Women’s Hospital.

Dr Vandana Pala

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Vandana Pala has been consulting with her patients independently from KFP rooms since 2012. Dr Pala is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her interests include women’s health, children’s health, ongoing management chronic disease, preventative medicine and all aspects of maintaining wellness. Dr Pala is also involved in the Shared Care Antenatal Program with both Sutherland and St George Hospitals.

Dr Pala has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and has undertaken additional training to develop her skills in the early detection, diagnosis & treatment of skin conditions including skin cancer.

Dr Marina Wahsh

MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma Child Health



Dr Marina Wahsh is a Shire local and experienced general practitioner who began consulting independently from KFP rooms in May 2020. She has a special intersest in women's health, perinatal care, children's health, and adolescent medicine. Marina holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Diploma in Child Health, and a Master's degree in Women's Health from the University of NSW. She is actively involved in shared maternity care with Sutherland, St George, and the Royal Hospital for Women.

Dr Adelina Gendi

Dr Adelina Gendi has been consulting with her patients independently from KFP rooms since February 2024. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Gendi trained at Blacktown, St George and Sutherland hospitals, working across several specialties including Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Gastroenterology and Cardiology.

Dr Gendi has a special interest in Preventative Health, Women's and Children's health, and Family Planning, and has additional qualifications in these areas, including a Family Planning Certificate for Implanon and IUD Insertion and removal.

Dr Marc Bastawrous

Dr Marc Bastawrous is a St George/Shire local who obtained his Medical Degree from Bond University, and is currently working towards his fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Bastawrous has furthered his training working in St George, Sutherland and Calvary Hospitals over the last 3 years. He has a keen interest in women's & children's health, mental health, and in optimising the management of chronic disease.

Dr Bastawrous is also part of the Antenatal Shared Care Program with both St George and Sutherland Hospitals, supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey. Dr Bastawrous has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, with a focus on early detection, prevention, and comprehensive care.
